Job Summary
In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize robust, scalable solutions using Python and GoLang.
- Lead and execute codebase migrations and rewrites between Python and Go, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
- Collaborate closely with AI researchers and software engineers to build and enhance AI training infrastructure.
- Apply best practices in software engineering, automation, and testing to deliver high-quality, production-ready code.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps for cross-language systems.
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal form, sharing insights, documentation, and status updates with stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers on language interoperability and migration strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant time in both Python and GoLang.
- Demonstrated expertise in production environments, including codebase migrations and system rewrites between Python and Go.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive approach to collaboration.
- Proven ability to deliver results independently in a remote, distributed team setting.
- Experience working in multiple language ecosystems and integrating diverse technical solutions.
- Available for at least 6+ hours of overlap with Eastern Time.
- Track record of high-quality code delivery and technical decision-making in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in AI, machine learning, or data engineering on large-scale projects.
- Experience in mentoring teams or leading complex migration projects.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP) and CI/CD best practices.
