Key Responsibilities

  • Review, edit, and proofread Welsh language content to ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
  • Translate written materials from English to Welsh and vice versa, adhering to project guidelines and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to provide linguistic insights and support on Welsh language usage and best practices.
  • Contribute to the creation of Welsh language resources, glossaries, and documentation.
  • Offer guidance and feedback on tone, style, and appropriateness of Welsh communications.
  • Conduct quality assurance on Welsh language projects to uphold consistency and excellence.
  • Assist with verbal and written Welsh communications as needed for project success.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Native or near-native fluency in Welsh, with excellent command of both written and spoken forms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in translation, localization, or content editing in Welsh.
  • Strong understanding of Welsh language norms, idioms, and cultural references.
